Top Travel Movies

Not that I never need any inspiration to want to travel, I love a good movie with great scenery that just gives you the urge to pack a suitcase and go.

Under the Tuscan Sun

with Diane Keaton
Such a great feel good movie and absolutely love the scenery of the Tuscan countryside, and the challenges of renovating in another language.

A Good Year

with Russell Crowe
I love this movie, set in Provence, the scenery is stunning. It’s a lesson in slowing down and enjoying life.

Eat, Pray, Love

with Julia Roberts
Something we may all need to do at some point in our life.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (1 & 2)

Although this may seem like an odd choice, it’s not just the pants that are doing the traveling. These friends are traveling all over the place, including Greece, Turkey and Mexico.

The Bucket List

with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman
What came first the movie or the saying?. Regardless many people have their own Bucket Lists, and travel is always one of the main items.

Thelma and Louise

with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis
This movie just makes you want to get in the car and drive, just not off a cliff (spoiler alert).

Out of Africa

with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford
One of the first movies I remember really featuring somewhere else. Now if I could just stay awake through the whole movie, I might have more to say about it.

Mamma Mia

with Meryl Streep
Although I am not a huge fan of musicals, the visuals of Greece in this movie are great, and make me want to go. Sorry if the song is now in your head.
